Manchester Gardens

Manchester Gardens was originally the walled garden of a large, private house. It was given to the local community for use as a public garden.

There is a regular litter pick by local residents on the last Sunday of every month from 11am until 1pm. Pickers and gloves are provided. All welcome to come along to help!

Filled about 6 bags with rubbish on Sunday 24 May, which the Council collected along with a broken Boris bike that had been chucked in the bushes. We’ve requested a deep clean especially for the back of the gardens along the fences to people’s homes.

In addition, a bug hotel, was added to the Gardens…

Next litter pick on Sunday 29 May at 11am
