Lets Talk Rubbish – The North London Zero Waste Survey are a voluntary and informal community group in North London that is seeking to seeks to increase cycling, reuse and composting in North London to reduce incineration.

Hackney Fixers aim to promote electrical and electronic repair in Hackney as an alternative to growing mountains of waste and consumption. Pre-pandemic, they offered on-the-spot fixing at a ‘Give and Take’ Day at the Redmond Community Centre in Woodberry Down.

Sustainable Haringey is an independent, informal network for everybody wanting to make Haringey more environmentally sustainable. This organisation used to organise the Great Compost Giveaway, where Haringey waste turned into compost was available to residents to take twice every year from a great steaming pile in Ally Pally car park.

At many of our VCRA events, we had Dr Bike providing free bike repair and maintenance.
