The River Moselle starts in Queen’s Wood in Highgate then runs across Haringey to the River Lea. This walk will cover the four miles from Wood Green and go through Noel Park conservation area, Lordship Recreation Ground (where following major restoration work we can see the Moselle raised to the surface and landscaped), Tottenham Cemetery, Tottenham High Road (with its many listed buildings) and end up at Markfield Park where the historic Markfield Beam Engine (part of Victorian sewage works) will be in steam – not to be missed! Refreshments available at Pistachios Cafe. Approximate duration: two hours.
